Adopting a cat can be one of the most rewarding life experiences, but before you decide to welcome a cat into your home, please ensure you are ready for the commitment.
Our fully trained volunteers will complete a home check prior to you adopting a cat or kitten, to make sure that the environment is suitable and to assess which cats/kittens would be a good match.
Below is a gallery of cats available. If you are interested in any of the cats, please call us on 07425 327772 and leave a CLEAR message including your name and phone number, and a volunteer will be in touch shortly.
Please be aware that we don’t advertise kittens, but often have many in our care. Contact us and we can let you know about any available or put you on a waiting list, as we often have pregnant mums. Kittens are not rehomed until they are 9 weeks old.

Juno
Age: 7 Years
LOOKING FOR HIS FOREVER HOME: Handsome 'tuxedo cat' Juno is 7 years old and is currently with us at Lancaster and Morecambe Cat Rescue. His favourite things are catnip, dry cat food, and to sit on your knee and be adored and stroked – although he will let you know when he's had enough attention! Juno has lived with a small dog before so could be rehomed with a calm canine who's already cat-savvy, and we believe he could settle with another laid-back cat, with gentle introductions. He has also lived with children. This gorgeous lad will go to his new home having been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and up to date with flea and worm treatment. If you could be the one to welcome Juno into your home as part of the family, please call us on 07425 327772. Leave a CLEAR voicemail and include your name and phone number, and one of our volunteers will get back to you ASAP.

Scampi
Age: 12 Years
Scampi is a shy and sweet boy. He’s been with his foster home for three months and is really coming out of his shell: curious, chatty and affectionate. He loves his brush, his cardboard scratching pad and is beginning to play with pom poms. He’s very healthy, has a good appetite and is gentle and tidy. He is still a little restless but is increasingly seeking out the company of humans. He’s had a very difficult start in life, and we feel confident that in a loving patient home he’ll blossom and become a mainstay of the family.

Benji
Age: 6 Years
Benji is a very friendly loving cat. Having come in as a 6 year old stray he was in a poor condition, however whilst he's been with us he's shown himself to be a true lady's man and loves nothing more than an ear rub and some dreamies. Benji's skin is now so much better but we have learnt that any stress can trigger his skin to flare meaning he needs a steroids injection. He does find Dogs particularly stressful. he will need grooming on a regular basis to stop his skin condition returning. Benji isn't a picky eater but does like to be on the same food as this does help his skin. If you can offer this lovely boy a loving home please contact me or call 07425 327772 and leave a clear message

May and Maggie
Age: 5 Years
Maggie and May both aged 5 came into our care at Lancaster & Morecambe Cat Rescue when their previous owner sadly passed away.
We cannot believe that these two really lovely, and friendly girls have not yet been adopted.
May (black chin) likes her fluffy chocolate bed, recently donated to us, but what she and her Sister Maggie (white chin) are longing for is a loving home and a bed of their own. They both like lots of fuss, May enjoys sitting on peoples shoulders, they also both would like the opportunity to go outside with plenty of safe space.
They do not like dogs, and although they have not lived with children, they could settle with older, patient children who understand cats.
They are both spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and have received flea and worm treatment.
If you could be the one to welcome these two really lovely girls into your home, to be part of a loving family again, please call us on 07425 327772. Leave a CLEAR voicemail and remember to include your name and a phone number and one of our volunteers will get back to you ASAP
